I am using the RAM Universal Finger Grip Holder with RAM's mounting hardware to hold an iPhone 4G on street bike handle bars. It grips the phone well and I have not fear of it falling out. I do have phone cover and used the RAM supplied rubber finger covers. The RAM products are well made and seem very durable. Only problem found is the handlebar mount is hard ABS type plastic and will spin on the bar. I used a strip of rubber under it and that helped I am very satisfied.

I CALLED THE DISTRIBUTOR AND TOLD THEM I WAS LOOKING FOR A CRADLER TAT WOULD HOLD MY TOMTOM VIA 1435 TM. THEY INTURN TOLD ME TO PURCHASE THIS ONE BEING IT HAD A UNIVERSAL FIT. BOY WERE THEY WRONG. SENT BACK AND MODIFIED THE ONE I HAD.

Dont buy this for a nuvie 40LM GPS. it holds it fine but you cant plug in the power cord, which is useless with out if your going on more then a three hour trip
